Nous étions si contents d'avoir nos cousins de Strasbourg ! Durant leurs vacances, nous avons célébré le 6ième anniversaire de Lucas. We were so happy to have our cousins over from Strasbourg ! During their holiday here, we celebrated Lucas' 6th birthday together.
Nous avons mangé des galettes. We ate what the french call "wise men galettes."
Lucas était très heureux de ses cadeaux et en particulier celui qui fait de lui un super héros. Lucas was really happy with his gifts, particularly the one who made of him a super heroe.

Nous avons également pris des photos les cousins tous ensemble avec Papichou et Maminou. We also took great pictures all the cousins together with Papichou and Maminou.
Le premier de l'an, nous avons célébré Noël avec tous les Debaisieux chez Maminou et Papichou à Halluin. Tonton Marc-Etienne et Tatie Nath étaient là avec les garçons : Lucas, Timothée et notre tout nouveau cousin Siméon, ainsi que Tonton Sam (Christen) et Tatie Anne avec Ruben. Nous avons passé de très bons moments et encore ouverts quelques cadeaux.
January 1rst we celebrated Christmas with all the Debaisieux at Maminou and Papichou's house in Halluin (here in the north of France). Uncle Marc-Etienne (Pierre's brother) and Aunt Nathalie were there with the boys : Lucas, Timothy and our brand new cousin Simeon, as well as Uncle Sam (Christen) and Aunt Ann (Pierre's sister) and Ruben (our cousin). We really had a good time together and opened more presents.

Maminou a rhabillé ses 3 princesses avec de belles jupes ou robes. Merci Maminou! Maminou dressed up her 3 princesses with new dresses or skirts. Thank you Maminou!

Je crois que tout le monde était unanime : la soirée du 31 décembre à l'église était une réussite et pour vous le prouver quelques photos à l'appui, ainsi qu'une vidéo de danses israéliennes qui furent un vrai succès.
I think everyone agreed on this point : the 31rst december evening at church was terrific and here are a few pictures to proove it, as well as a video of israelien danses who were very successfull.

Nous étions reconnaissants d'avoir Grandpa et les Kalioudjoglou à Lille pendant 3 jours 1/2 chez nous. Nous avons vraiment passé de merveilleux moments. We were so grateful to have Grandpa and the Kalioudjoglou here in Lille for 3 and 1/2 days. We really had a great time together.
Nous avons visité le marché de Noël et vu la grande roue sur la grand place au centre de Lille. We visited the traditionnal Christmas market and saw the big Wheel on the big plaza in Lille.
Comme vous pouvez le voir Père Noël a amené beaucoup de joie aux enfants cette année, spécialement à Maryanna qui aime bien arraché le papier de ses cadeaux. As you may notice Santa brought lots of joy to the children this year, especially Maryanna who loved tearing the paper off her presents.
Nous avons aussi fait une super sortie à la patinoire. Bon évidemment Steph et Grandpa ont regardé David et Rachel se dépatouiller avec les 7 enfants sur la glace. Jugez vous-mêmes ! We also went to the outdoors skating rink. Well of course Stephie and Grandpa watched David and Rachel cope on the ice with all 7 kids. Judge for yourself !
Les moments de douceur et de calin étaient aussi de rigueur pour les filles avec leur petite cousine Maryanna. Elles se préparent pour le bébé qui viendra chez nous aux environs du 15 avril prochain. The girls also had a lot of joy cuddling with their little cousin Maryanna. They are getting reday for the new baby coming in our household for next April 15th
C'est fait. Pierre a maintenant la moitié de 70 ! Le 23 décembre il a eu 2 gâteaux un le midi et un le soir et évidemment quelques cadeaux. It's done Pete is now half 70 old ! The 23rd of December he had 2 birthday cakes one for lunch and one for supper and of course a few gifs !

Quelle joie le 30 décembre 2007 de pouvoir faire connaissance avec le petit Siméon, notre nouveau cousin ! Le dernier venu chez Marc-Etienne et Nathalie, soit un troisième garçon après Lucas et Timothée.
C'est un bébé magnifique pour 1 mois 1/2. Il a pris un bon départ à la naissance avec 4 kgs 330.
Les filles étaient ravies de pouvoir pouponner.
What joy on December 30th, 2007 to get to know Simeon, our new little cousin ! The last member of the family in Marc-Etienne (Pierre's brother) and Nathalie's home, a third boy after Lucas and Timothy.
A magnificent baby for 1 month 1/2. He had a good stard rigth from when he was born with 9 and half pounds.
The girls were delighted to be able to cuddle him.
Eh oui, notre Constance a 7 ans comme vous pouvez le constater ! Yes, our Constance is 7 now as you may notice !
Puis Maminou lui a aussi préparé un beau et bon gâteau. Then Maminou also prepared her a very nice cake.
Elle a fait une petite fête avec ses amis de l'école. She had a celebration with her friends from school.
Mon cousin Ruben était là aussi ce jour là. My cousin Ruben was there that day also.
Et elle a reçu des cadeaux le 23 décembre quand ses cousins du Sud sont arrivés! And she received some gifts from her cousins from the South on December 23rd when their arrived !

Emily dit bien sûr qu'elle va avoir un petit frère! Emily of course says she's having a baby brother !
